In the Beginning
These are the beginnings of this fellowship.
A group got together and started a prayer meeting in the home of Curly and Peggy Whiteaker located in Baytown, Texas (USA). These meetings began
Ministers to Lead
As these meetings grew, two ministers were asked to lead this group. In 1974 Rev. Olin Troutman and Rev. Lonnie Bowlen assumed the leadership roles.

Established in 1950, The Lighthouse Baytown has been a cornerstone of our community for over 70 years. We have a rich history of serving others and sharing the message of Christ with all who will listen.

New Pastors
In 1975 Rev. Carroll and Gayle Lansford were asked to become pastors of Gospel Lighthouse.

Property at 8218 John Martin Rd. was purchased in 1984 and the new building construction began.
